Greenfield Technologies Ltd, AKA: GreenfieldTech, is the driving force behind the Asterisk Community in Israel, delivering hi-end Asterisk based solutions to its customers since 2007. Founded by Nir Simionovich, a world renowned Asterisk Expert, author, technology evangelist and blogger, Nir had taken it upon himself to promote the proper usage of Asterisk based technologies and Asterisk’s education and certification in Israel. Since its inception, GreenfieldTech had catered to over 300 different customers, developing various Asterisk based solutions, platforms and innovative services.

Asterisk is the world’s most popular open source telephony project. Under development since 1999, Asterisk is free, open source software that turns an ordinary computer into a feature-rich voice communications server. Asterisk makes it simple to create and deploy a wide range of telephony applications and services.

GreenfieldTech’s vision is a world based upon open communications, open standards and sharing of knowledge and information. Our mission is to transform the way businesses utilize Open Source software in general and Asterisk in particular.
